Freedom Run @ Centennial Park

Begin your Fourth of July weekend with a fun 5K or 10K race at downtown Midland Centennial Park. The race starts at 7 AM and veterans and first responders get free race fees.

Midland Downtown Farmers Market @ Museum of the Southwest

Every Saturday morning you can find local produce and wares at the Midland Downtown Farmers Market. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the coolest part of a West Texas day in July. This particular Saturday, you can find a bouncy house for the kids and a July 4th spirit around every corner.

Aaron Lewis @ La Hacienda Event Center

Country musician Aaron Lewis, known for his time as the lead vocalist in Staind, comes to Midland on July 3rd on tour for his new album, Am I the Only One. 

Star-Spangled Salute @ Centennial Park / Bush Convention Center

Beginning with the 58th Annual Children's Parade (9 AM), the Star-Spangled Salute is a free Midland community event celebrating the Fourth of July. After enjoying food, games, and even a beer garden, the night ends with fireworks of course!
