August: Things to do in Midland, Texas

Just as fast as the hot temperatures and the long nights of summer fun came to Midland, they are fading off with school starting for the kiddos this month. 

Soak in the last few days of summer vacation with all of the fun events happening around the Tall City this month before getting back into the swing of things! Might we suggest popping into our Midland AF End-of-Summer Luau on August 6th?!

“Life on the Streets- Homeless in Midland, Texas”- Artist Reception @ Sibley Nature Center

Local photographer, Conrad Coleman took inspiration from his wife’s volunteer work to show what homelessness is like in Midland.

Unity Night @ The Destination Midland

Enjoy an open mic and open art night at The Destination Midland on the first Thursday of every month! With food trucks, drinks, live music, and live art close out the summer season at Unity Night.
