1. Fiddlesticks Farms
Fiddlesticks is the one most Midland families mean when they say "the pumpkin patch." Plan on a few hours. The farm has a 7-acre corn maze, a 10-acre pumpkin patch, more than 25 attractions, and campfires you can gather around once the sun goes down.

2. St. Luke's United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
The St. Luke's patch is a Midland tradition and the easiest pumpkin run in town. Entry is free, pumpkins start at $1 and go up by size, and the lawn is set up for photos. Story time and fall coloring sheets make it a good stop with preschoolers — local schools bring whole classes. Bring cash; the patch is cash only.

Anderson Farm Market sets up in the lot next to Mr. Gatti's on West Wadley with pumpkins, fresh produce, and a hay-bale couch for a quick photo. It's the stop to make when you want pumpkins on the porch today and don't have an afternoon to spend.

4. Pumpkin Patch at Parks Legado Farmer’s Market
Since 2017, The Parks Legado Farmers Market has worked to provide interaction between West Texas farmers, bakers, artisans, and consumers. 5. Mandujano Brothers Pumpkin Patch (Coyanosa)
This is a working farm, not a set-up lot. A hay ride carries you out to the field to pick your own, and back at the barn there's a hay pit, corn maze, jumping pad, gift shop, and farmers market. The farm's own advice: wear jeans and closed-toe shoes, because it's a real patch with weeds and vines.

Tips for a better pumpkin patch trip
Bring cash. St. Luke's is cash only, and small church and farm patches often are.
Dress for a field. Closed-toe shoes and long pants, especially at working farms.
Check the ticket type at Fiddlesticks. Non-peak tickets won't get you in on October peak days.
Follow the patch on Facebook. Smaller patches post opening day, hours, and sell-outs there first.
Go early in the season for the best pick. Church patches sell until the pumpkins are gone.
