The DK Tarzan and Jane Travel Center will celebrate the grand opening of their flagship Midland store at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12.
The grand opening begins with big giveaways that include $100 DK Fuel cards, Apple AirPods, and an RTIC cooler.
The Midland travel center will serve the delicious burgers their stores are known for, as well as PJ’s Coffee and HTeaO. DK Fuel, which is sourced and refined in Texas and the Gulf Shore states, will be the store’s fuel provider.
Later that evening, Texas country artist John Baumann is scheduled to perform in a free concert at 7 p.m.
Baumann is a member of the Texas supergroup The Panhandlers and is a successful solo artist as well. He is best known for his hit songs “Gold El Camino,” “Midland” and “Here I Come.” He is a noted songwriter, and penned superstar Kenny Chesney’s song “Gulf Moon.” The performance is free and the public is welcome. The DK Tarzan & Jane is located at 8404 West County Rd 60.
