Sip & Shop for a cause! At the Harvesting Hope Fall Market, every item tells a story—one shaped through communication, creativity, and growth. Purchase a glass of wine and enjoy browsing items handcrafted by members of the Aphasia Center of West Texas. Members have poured their determination into crafting pressed flower art, succulent arrangements, woodshop pieces, children’s kits, scarf necklaces, holiday décor, seasonal jams, grilling rubs and marinades, wearable and displayable high school and college spirit pieces, original artwork, and more. These creations reflect not only their talents but also the communication skills they practice as they plan, collaborate, and express their ideas.
This event is more than a market. It’s a celebration of the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia, where individuals living with aphasia engage in meaningful, hands-on activities that strengthen conversation, build confidence, and support the use of language tools in everyday life. When you shop, you’re supporting their voices, their progress, and their ongoing journey toward expressing themselves fully within our community.
