Inside Fountainville, you’ll find dozens of flavors that are locally inspired and loved by many. Murray’s Deli

Tall City Brewing Co.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, Tall City has your seat for the freshest craft beer in Midland and a spacious patio with games and seating. Kids (leashed and unleashed) and pets (leashed) are always welcome on the patio for family fun. You may even encounter the resident brew dog, often free-roaming the facility like the boss dog that he is. 

The Blue Door

Not only does the Blue Door serve up some of the tastiest cocktails in West Texas and offer $5 old fashioned every day but they have a spacious patio to enjoy some beverages with your loyal canine companion. Blue Door is known for their happy hour, ladies night, and also happens to be huge animal advocates. We’re sure that your dog would love to join in on ladies night and happy hour.

Eccentric Brewing

This indoor taproom is dog-friendly and people-friendly if you’re a local beer drinker. Sample 12 beers brewed here in Midland, make a new friend, and bring your pup; what more could you ask for? Bearing in mind that Eccentric is a smaller venue, it is advised that your dog be better behaved than a child.

Open 7 days a week with food onsite, you’ll find a lot of reasons to return to Midland Beer Garden. If your dog has a problem with giant tortoises, this might not be the spot for you. If you don’t like drinking booze amidst a greenhouse, it's not a good choice for you. 

The Mule Barn

Beal Waggin’ Trail Dog Park

This is every dog’s dream with plenty of room to run leash-free and lots of opportunities to make some other dog friends. All the dog parents can rest assured due to the separate park areas for big dogs and little dogs to keep everyone safe. Beal Waggin’ Trail Park is equipped with lots of room to play, shade and seating for the humans, and plastic bags for any accidents.

Hogan’s Run Dog Park

Another dog exclusive park in Midland that has everything a pup could want is Hogan Park. With lots of agility obstacles for the fast and the furious and lots of shade for the lazy, Hogan is a great option for all Midland pups. Amenities for the humans include seating, bathrooms, and shade trees for a long day at the park.

Sibley Nature Center

Have a look at the natural aspects of West Texas over at the Sibley Nature Center. Here you’ll learn more about the wildlife and plant life that is native to our area while also exploring the area with your pet. Even if you’re without a four-legged friend, Grand Companions hold their Hike with a Homeless Pet dog walking event here to give the adoptable pups a chance to walk and meet their potential adopters.

Arts Council of Midland Sculpture Garden

Where else can take in art and reflect inside on a beautiful life with man’s best friend. Something different than just the dog park, we know that your pooch will love that art as much as you will. The Arts Council garden is complete with a grassy area and tons of room to explore with some of Midland’s greatest sculptures. 

Museum of the Southwest Grounds

Get artsy with your best buddy and enjoy the many sculptures on the Museum of the Southwest grounds. With the addition of a mural at the museum, you and your pup are sure to enjoy your time at MSW. Make sure you check it out and snap a picture for the Gram of your furriest companion.

Centennial Park Dog Park

Midland’s newest dog park caters to both large and small dogs offering two different park areas. This dog park is located on the north side of Centennial Park - at the foot of the Petroleum Building. Just keep in mind that dogs are not welcome on the main green of Centennial Park and need to stay at the dog park.

Comanche Trail

If your pet is a car lover, you should make the short drive over to Odessa and explore the Comanche Trail. There are 2 routes on the trail for you to walk with your pet and explore the trail with your adventure companion. If your dog is a frisbee fan, then there are 3 separate disc golf courses in the area that they are bound to enjoy.

Central Bark

While you’re in Odessa, you might as well enjoy a dog park. Central Bark or Paul Slator Park features a leash-free zone and plenty of open space to run and play. Make sure that your pup is up to date on all their shots before taking them out.

HIIT4FIT

When going to your workout class, you have to remember all the essentials for getting your sweat on. Of course a water bottle and a towel but what about your dog? At HIIT4FIT, bring your pup along for the fun during your next class. Whether you’re getting zen during a yoga session or an intense cycling or HIIT session, your dog will be there every step of the way.

Alldredge Gardens

As you peruse the aisles and aisles of greenery at Alldredge, bring your pup to accompany you in choosing the perfect plant for your outside or inside gardens. After you’re done shopping, take a pit stop at the Cafe located within the greenhouse for a drink, a meal, or a little of both.

The Botanical Boutique

Perhaps you and your dog share a green thumb or you’re both in it for the fun of trying to grow something new every year. Whatever it is, stop into The Botanical Boutique to stock up on stems, sprouts, and decor for your outside plant oasis. This team loves seeing their furry supporters stop in.

Both you and your pet can support local businesses every Saturday together. If you’re early enough, you might even be able to catch some of the pet treat vendors to grab some snacks for your pet.
