The Bush Family Home State Historic Site is holding their second annual Children’s Health Fair, in honor of Robin Bush on Saturday, September 13 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Pauline Robinson “Robin” Bush was the daughter and second-born child of George H. W. Bush and Barbara Bush. Unfortunately, at just three years old, Robin Bush was diagnosed with leukemia and passed away from the disease just two months before her fourth birthday. At the Children’s Health Fair, the Bush Family Home hopes to encourage healthy living and regular doctor’s visits through different activities and even some classes provided by fitness centers in Midland.
“We hope that we can inspire a healthier community and a healthier world!” says Educator Erin Frigo.
The event is being held during Children’s Cancer Awareness Month. The event will be a fun and educational event for children of all ages. Parents will be able to receive information about children health concerns and good healthy activities to do at home.
