Well, during school dances, kids would have to take off their shoes in order to protect the varnish of the gym floor, so they would just dance in their socks! And "hop" is a 1950s slang term for a dance! There, you learned something new today! So, on dear ole Valentine's Day this year, we hope you'll join us for a real swell time! We'll have root beer floats, candy, bubble gum blowing contests, hula hoop contests, 1950s love songs, dancing, and so much more!
