Midland Bush Tour Reveal
You are invited to come to the Midland Bush Tour Reveal on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. The Bush tour will allow participants to ride a bus around Midland to visit the actual places that the Bush Family visited. A tour guide will tell the stories in front of each of the places. These stories are sure to surprise you, make you laugh or maybe cry, and enrich you with the life of the Bushes in Midland. There will be refreshments. The ticket is $25.

Tchaikovsky's Musical Gifts - Midland Festival Ballet's 2024 Showcase
"Every year our students get stronger, expand their vocabulary, improve their technique, and develop their artistry. Celebrate how far each of our students have come this year at Midland Festival Ballet's 2024 Showcase: Tchaikovsky's Musical Gifts!
All of the music from this year’s Showcase is composed by Tchaikovsky, primarily from his first hit ballet score, The Sleeping Beauty. You’ll probably recognize most of the music; Disney’s animated film version actually uses Tchaikovsky’s score! In the original ballet, there are 6 fairies that bring gifts to the baby Princess Aurora. Each fairy has a variation, or solo, during which she bestows her gift. These musical gifts were the inspiration for this year’s showcase theme. To enhance their performing experience, each level has been learning about Tchaikovsky, the story, and even some of the original choreography. We’ve also enjoyed watching them use their imagination to personify these gifts with their movements."

Looking for a fun, creative time for your child? Sign them up to come paint this awesome painting with us. Our fun instructor will guide your mini-picasso step-by-step in creating their masterpiece and help when needed! They will begin to learn brush techniques, and how to use a variety of art materials in our fun and encouraging painting environment. Colors options will be availabe so that your little one can personalize their painting. Our only goal is for your child to leave with paintings that they had a fun time creating!

Tammie Locklar's Dance Studio is celebrating 32 years here in the Permian Basin. Please join us for our annual spring recital "Dance the Night Away". Come out and enjoy a wonderful evening of entertainment for all ages. Local dancers will be performing tap, ballet, jazz and hip hop dances that they have been perfecting this dance season.
ART Class - Ages 5-7
These art class sessions are to emphasize creative thinking and artistic experimentation. Each month we will work on new art projects and techniques. Your child will receive instruction in drawing, painting, mixed media techniques, sculpture, printmaking and more.
Classes are held weekly. There will be no class on Holidays. The fee for these art Sessions is a monthly rate. You will need to register for each month you would like your child to attend. The monthly fee includes all class dates listed at the time of registration for the month.
Crafting Class - Ages 8-14
These craft classes sessions are to emphasize creative thinking and artistic experimentation. Each month we will work on new craft projects and techniques. We used a wide variety of supplies to create our beautiful projects! These even include items you have in your own household!
Classes are held weekly on Tuesday evenings. There will be no class on Holidays. The fee for these art Sessions is a monthly rate. You will need to register for each month you would like your child to attend. The monthly fee includes all class dates listed at the time of registration for the month.
Building Bots
Building Bots classes enable students in kindergarten through 6th grade to develop skills in critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving while they complete engineering challenges, robotic design, and inventive projects. We utilize a variety of robotics equipment including LEGO WeDo 2.0s, LEGO Mindstorm EV3s, LEGO SPIKE (prime and essential), Osmos, Spheros, and Ozobots as well as implementing different themes each month. Pre-registration is required.

STEAM Sprouts Mini Camps
Join us as we kick off the summer with two STEAM Sprouts Mini Science Camps. Each Mini Camp will feature hands‐on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) based programming for 4‐ and 5‐year‐olds. The camps will highlight collaborative experiments and inventive projects designed to get young minds excited about science. Rylee, The Young Rocketeer is a colorful and fun, rhyming picture book teaching children to dream big, reach for the stars, to become anything they are hoping to become. Your child will fall in love with Rylee's exhilarating, positive and colorful personality as she shares her adventures traveling throughout outer space, meeting new friends, with her best friend, Cosmo by her side. Children will also learn about the planets, their order from the sun, briefly touch on what they are made up of, in a fun and lighthearted, rhyming fashion.
