Midland Bush Tour Reveal
You are invited to come to the Midland Bush Tour Reveal on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. The Bush tour will allow participants to ride a bus around Midland to visit the actual places that the Bush Family visited. A tour guide will tell the stories in front of each of the places. These stories are sure to surprise you, make you laugh or maybe cry, and enrich you with the life of the Bushes in Midland. There will be refreshments. The ticket is $25.

These art class sessions are to emphasize creative thinking and artistic experimentation. Each month we will work on new art projects and techniques. Your child will receive instruction in drawing, painting, mixed media techniques, sculpture, printmaking and more.

An Evening at Anthus with Kelley Heiligenthal
We are thrilled to announce that Kalley Heiligenthal is coming back to Anthus on Tuesday, May 7th for an evening of worship, encouragement, and prayer.
Kalley will be leading a time of acoustic worship, sharing a message, and ending the night with ministry and prayer. If you missed our event when she was here last April, don't miss this one! To learn more about her, you can visit her website here.
Refreshments will be provided, and lap babies are welcome to join. Men, too! This event is open for all women and men. Space is limited, so don't wait to get your ticket!

Building Bots
Spring 2024 Building Bots – Robotics & Engineering Fun Lab
Building Bots classes enable students in kindergarten through 6th grade to develop skills in critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving while they complete engineering challenges, robotic design, and inventive projects. We utilize a variety of robotics equipment including LEGO WeDo 2.0s, LEGO Mindstorm EV3s, LEGO SPIKE (prime and essential), Osmos, Spheros, and Ozobots as well as implementing different themes each month. Pre-registration is required.

Karaoke Night
A FREE community event hosted by DJ Jake that provides an opportunity for anyone aspiring to be a star to take the stage. Come show off your talent at Karaoke Night. Whether you are a performer or spectator, you are sure to have a good time!

After benefiting from a large and sudden inheritance, the inept and accident-prone Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society embark on producing an ambitious 1920s murder mystery. They are delighted that neither casting issues nor technical hitches currently stand in their way. However, hilarious disaster ensues and the cast start to crack under the pressure, but can they get the production back on track before the final curtain falls?
Makers Gonna Make!
Join us for our new community makerspace event Makers Gonna Make! On the second Saturday of each month, students in 1st through 12th grade can utilize our new STEAM Education Center and all its resources. Students will have access to our TeacherGeek Makerspace Carts, tools, cutting machines, 3D design/printing materials, and more. These events are also ideal for completing STEAM projects.
Students in first through fifth grade will have access to the makerspace from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and students in sixth through 12th grade will have access from 2 to 4 p.m.
Students can test the limits of their own creativity during these learner‐centered events. The cost per session is $15 for Museum Members and $25 for non‐members. Looking to save more? Discounts are available for six‐ and 12‐month bundles. Pre‐registration is required.

Tchaikovsky's Musical Gifts - Midland Festival Ballet's 2024 Showcase
"Every year our students get stronger, expand their vocabulary, improve their technique, and develop their artistry. Celebrate how far each of our students have come this year at Midland Festival Ballet's 2024 Showcase: Tchaikovsky's Musical Gifts!
All of the music from this year’s Showcase is composed by Tchaikovsky, primarily from his first hit ballet score, The Sleeping Beauty. You’ll probably recognize most of the music; Disney’s animated film version actually uses Tchaikovsky’s score! In the original ballet, there are 6 fairies that bring gifts to the baby Princess Aurora. Each fairy has a variation, or solo, during which she bestows her gift. These musical gifts were the inspiration for this year’s showcase theme. To enhance their performing experience, each level has been learning about Tchaikovsky, the story, and even some of the original choreography. We’ve also enjoyed watching them use their imagination to personify these gifts with their movements."

Movie in the Park - Elemental
On Friday, May 17th Centennial Park is partnering with City of Midland, Texas - City Government to host a Movie in the Park. This is a free community event!
Elemental (PG) will show at 8:30 p.m. on May 17th. The run time is 1H 41M.
Movie Summary: The film journeys alongside an unlikely pair, Ember and Wade, in a city where fire-, water-, land- and air-residents live together. The fiery young woman and the go-with-the-flow guy are about to discover something elemental: how much they actually have in common.
Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets.

The same amazing art camp that you are used to at The Studio.
New this year, just a few doors down from our main studio location in Suite 9 we now have the paint palace for our Messy Masterpieces Pre-K Program. This new Studio spaces is designed specifically for your pre-K children ages 3 to 5. With designated areas for art, reading, play and sensory exploration. We are excited to have your little ones in our new space.
We will have all the same fun activities paint, craft, making slime, science experiments, play games and so much more. Everyday is brand new and all about fun. Yes, they will learn, but more importantly.... they will have FUN!
We do all the things that make a HUGE mess, so you don't have to!

We are so excited about our camp themes for this year and have the most amazing activities planned.
Parents with 5 year olds can choose if they would like their child to attend the main camp with 5-7 age group friends or the pre-k camp with 3-5 age group. You know your child best. The Pre-K Program will register their child HERE! If you would like to have your child at the main location you will use the other Summer Camp register action link for children ages 5-14. This option is only available for 5 year olds. Our camps sell out. We will not be able to make camp attendance changes the week of camp.
All Children attending must be fully potty trained to attend camp. Campers will not be assisted in the restrooms. In the event of an accident the parent will be called for pickup.
Children may pack a lunch or eat with us for $5 per day. (This can be purchased at the door when you check in).

Summer Art Camp
ART CAMP- but way more! We paint, craft, make slime, do science experiments, play games and so much more. Every day is brand new and all about fun. Yes, they will learn, but more importantly.... they will have FUN!

These art class sessions are to emphasize creative thinking and artistic experimentation. Each month we will work on new art projects and techniques. Your child will receive instruction in drawing, painting, mixed media techniques, sculpture, printmaking and more.
Classes are held weekly. There will be no class on Holidays. The fee for these art Sessions is a monthly rate. You will need to register for each month you would like your child to attend. The monthly fee includes all class dates listed at the time of registration for the month.
Crafting Class - Ages 8-14

STEAM Sprouts Mini Camps
Join us as we kick off the summer with two STEAM Sprouts Mini Science Camps. Each Mini Camp will feature hands‐on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) based programming for 4‐ and 5‐year‐olds. The camps will highlight collaborative experiments and inventive projects designed to get young minds excited about science. KNO gives your children ages 4 to 14 a chance to get out of the house, and off their devices to have some fun with other kids. Each KNO will feature painting, games, crafts, and a slime bar. This new Studio spaces is designed specifically for your pre-K children ages 3 to 5. With designated areas for art, reading, play and sensory exploration. We are excited to have your little ones in our new space.
We will have all the same fun activities paint, craft, making slime, science experiments, play games and so much more. Everyday is brand new and all about fun. Yes, they will learn, but more importantly.... they will have FUN!

Permian Basin FCA Marks Family All-Star Classic
FCA All-Star week is a 4-day event of All-Star games for graduating seniors from around the Permian Basin. The All-Star games include football, volleyball, 2 golf rounds, cheerleaders and athletic trainers. The All-Star week is filled with practices, fellowship, worship, and competition.

Kids Night Out - Parents Night Off!
I bet you could use a night out. How about a night out without the kids? Enjoy a night out on the town with peace of mind that your kids are having fun at Kids Night Out at The Studio. KNO gives your children ages 4 to 14 a chance to get out of the house, and off their devices to have some fun with other kids. Each KNO will feature painting, games, crafts, and a slime bar. Pizza can be purchased for $5 at the front desk or you may pack your child a dinner. Drop off @ 6:00pm. Pick-up @ 9:00pm. Dress for a mess please! New this year, just a few doors down from our main studio location in Suite 9 we now have the paint palace for our Messy Masterpieces Pre-K Program. This new Studio spaces is designed specifically for your pre-K children ages 3 to 5. With designated areas for art, reading, play and sensory exploration. We are excited to have your little ones in our new space.
We will have all the same fun activities paint, craft, making slime, science experiments, play games and so much more. Everyday is brand new and all about fun. Yes, they will learn, but more importantly.... they will have FUN!

Parents with 5 year olds can choose if they would like their child to attend the main camp with 5-7 age group friends or the pre-k camp with 3-5 age group. You know your child best. The Pre-K Program will register their child HERE! If you would like to have your child at the main location you will use the other Summer Camp register action link for children ages 5-14. This option is only available for 5 year olds. Our camps sell out. We will not be able to make camp attendance changes the week of camp.

The same amazing art camp that you are used to at The Studio.
New this year, just a few doors down from our main studio location in Suite 9 we now have the paint palace for our Messy Masterpieces Pre-K Program. This new Studio spaces is designed specifically for your pre-K children ages 3 to 5. With designated areas for art, reading, play and sensory exploration. We are excited to have your little ones in our new space.
We will have all the same fun activities paint, craft, making slime, science experiments, play games and so much more. Everyday is brand new and all about fun. Yes, they will learn, but more importantly.... they will have FUN!

This option is only available for 5 year olds. Our camps sell out. We will not be able to make camp attendance changes the week of camp.

The newborn baby care class will cover all things baby from bathing, diaper changes, and feeding to how infants physiologically adjust to life after birth. Looking for a fun, creative time for your child? Sign them up to come paint this awesome painting with us. Our fun instructor will guide your mini-picasso step-by-step in creating their masterpiece and help when needed! Our partnership with Grand Companions, a homeless pet shelter serving the enti Trans-Pecos region, is back!
Grand Companions will bring homeless animals here 1 Sibley to be walked on our trails the 1st Thursday of every month! If you would like to hike with a homeless pet or maybe take one to their ‘furrever’ home, please come and see the benefits of this exciting partnership!
